Because she likes releasing a zillion remixes and song versions I hope we eventually get an official stripped down version of Clean

 

3 of the re-recorded songs have already been released, dating back to last September for the first one. And there was footage of Imogen Heap in the studio working on the new version of "Clean". I'm sure it's been done for a while. She's been on a STREAK the past couple years. It's looking like Speak Now is next though, so I'm thinking next summer for this one.

 

Latest SwiftTok rumor, buoyed by the actual Times Square account using Bejeweled on their latest video showing the NYE ball being installed, is that we're getting Speak Now (TV) at midnight on January 1st after she performs in Times Square. "Drop everything now" = ball drop. "Meet me at midnight." The vinyl clock is a square (Times Square). Etc.

It's the first SwiftTok rumor that actually kinda matches what she's done in the past "Easter egg" wise (not that convoluted/deep), but it also wouldn't really match anything she's done in the TV rollouts thus far. But I expected a much faster rollout of the TVs to begin with, and it would make sense to get more out before the Eras tour to me.

Hopefully she gets to the self-titled soon enough for those Christmas songs to be "(Taylor's Version)"-ified by next holiday season. Really wanna get her version of "Silent Night" with her adult voice in my rotation next year.

I was telling my gf that I will only consider the TV project complete if we get the Christmas EP. It’s easily her worst vocal performance. You can tell it’s a young singer tired in the middle of a tour.

i think AOTGYLB is the only one that isn't from the SN era (i believe it's an unused song from Lover). Eyes Open and Safe & Sound were both on The Hunger Games soundtrack.

 

"If This Was A Movie" was a Speak Now bonus track. Not sure about the other song. "All Of The Girls" was one of the songs that leaked a couple weeks ago though.

 

those Hunger Games songs are going to sound sooo good. her voice does cool stuff on the original "Eyes Open" but i think hearing her current voice on those songs are going to really elevate them.

 

Trying not to be too excited about a civil wars “reunion”, but I assumed the Taylor’s version of that song would only include one of them when it eventually came. Happy to be wrong

 

yeah, i knew for sure Joy was a lock, but i was surprised to see John Paul there too. even if they're still not on speaking terms, it's good to know they're willing to contribute to the rerecordings.
