Honestly shocked it’s almost August and she hasn’t dropped a TV yet this year

 

Yeah I thought for sure we’d get 2 each year

 

They're with the other 48 Sufjan albums

 

On one hand I really appreciate that Taylor can literally do whatever she wants, whenever she wants, whether that means two albums in a calendar year or zero. On the other hand, her 2022 releases consist of a Message In A Bottle remix, This Love (Taylor's Version), alternate version of ATW 10, and 2 versions of Carolina, which all feels very silly overall

 

I'm choosing to believe that she's been working on her next album.

 

my theory is that they're probably all mostly done (except rep), but for some minor legal reason or another, they're held up.

 

Yeah there are apparently some issues with the copyrighting according to stan twitter

 

There was also a theory that she was able to purchase the masters to the original work and she essentially stopped it all.

 

this would anger and excite me all at the same time, so i'm choosing not to believe it haha

 

Feel like she'd release them anyway, haha. Seems like at least a few more albums are done, and this is already proven to be a cash cow. Plus, the vault!

 

if we don't get the debut album re-recorded with its vault tracks, i'll spontaneously combust.

 

Another exciting possibility is she waited due to vinyl delays, and is dropping 2 TV’s a month apart—that way there’s no vinyl release delay.

 

I guess a relevant question is: How quickly can the Taylor Swifts of the world cut to the front of the vinyl production line?

 

She probably knocked out the original track lists for every album pretty quickly. The vault track (re-writes) and guests are what has probably taken the most effort.

no more full TV albums. It'll be songs featured in movies and tv shows

 

haha yeah just releasing the singles that the suits want in their movies/shows.
