fearless was my first taylor swift record and every time i listen to it it's just like "oh my god this song is so wonderful" for every song (minus "the way you loved me," which is fine, and "change," which is also fine)
Also my first Taylor Swift record. I think I'd have a stronger connection to the debut if I had heard it first.
1. Red 2. 1989 3. Reputation 4. Speak Now 5. Fearless 6. S/T I just don’t really like country music. I became a fan when fearless came out because her songs were relatable and super catchy, so I’ve really enjoyed her evolution. I’m still waiting for her arena rock record full of power ballads, but this pop stuff is fun.
^arena rock made me remember that an entire record in the vein of State of Grace would be much appreciated.
Also after finishing up my listen of Speak Now in full for the first time in forever, I'm now realizing just how unnecessarily long some of those songs are. Like Dear John is a great song, but theres no reason for it to be close to 7 minutes long. Still a contender for my favorite album of hers, though.
I'm still debating if I'll be able to afford it when presale comes. If not, I'll give you my magazine boost
