Think there's any chance she adds a Staples show during those gap dates? I imagine it'll be a second Rose Bowl but damn I wish
When I saw Metallica this summer I decided to uber to avoid the parking costs......leaving the concert the cheapest uber I could get was something ridiculous like $80. I felt really silly.
Yeah actually last time I went, we did wait out traffic a bit for a better uber price. We ended up cutting costs by going with Uber Pool though. Good point though, forgot about that whole thang
Of course there's no Vancouver show, and the Seattle show is in the middle of the week. Might turn this into an opportunity to jet away to another place for a weekend show.
It is! And there is an AT&T exclusive series where I think there will be one of these for every single song, I think

Album is best when she isn't trying too hard to be cool and edgy Not sure if she (or record label) has final say on which singles are released, but they seem to have cloth ears - LWYMMD is an absolute horror, and the worse thing on the album by a mile, which is exactly the same situation as 'Bad Blood' from 1989
LWYMMD is 100% the right choice for the lead single though. An artist of her size needs the first song released from a new era to make people talk, good or bad, and boy did that song make people talk. If they released maybe "Getaway Car" first, yes the song is better and would get most fans excited, but there would be way less chatter about her and the album
Any news on how strict the preferences will be? I know we can change them until November 28th, but will I be force to buy the number of tickets I set? And it has the "How much will you pay for this amount" slider. Like I want the cheapest tickets possible that aren't restricted viewing, but I don't know how much that will be so I don't want to put it lower than the tickets will cost and have them think I'm not willing to pay more or something.
Fair enough - but for a casual fan, hearing that and expecting the rest of the album to be like that? They wouldn't be buying it It also makes her look a bit of a petty child, just as Bad Blood did.
If she thought Ready For It was going to be a #1 single, she wouldn't have released it - was it two weeks? - after LWYMMD. She would've waited until the hype from that song fully died down. And I don't think Gorgeous or Call It What You Want make great single choices. Maybe she was hoping LWYMMD would fare better, but it's not like she put it out not realizing it would be the most controversial song from the album.
Idk I think with Taylor (and most artists actually) it'd be foolish to assume the rest of the album is like the lead single
Look What You Made Me Do is similar to Shake It Off in terms of tone so there must be a reason she likes that for leadoff single
I dunno, she is selling insanely well so I have no reason to doubt what her and her team did for the rollout
What does a TS live show look like? Lots of preteens in puffy paint shirts with their soccer moms? Or will the crowd have grown up a little bit and just be white girls 16-24 snapping the entire show? Love pop music, hate pop shows.
