I'm still hoping every song is better than the pre released. Call It What You Want was pretty good though
50-50 chance "i did a bad thing" is her owning up to being an asshole sometimes OR it's another tongue in cheek media whirlwind of "taylor the victim" articles and i'll be exhausted. outlier chance it's abt how she ended up with white toast and why the timeline is so muddled
I'm always surprised when people are shocked she's with bland basic dudes considering she is incredibly basic, I don't mean this as an insult necessarily
Somewhat ironically (and probably why she hasn’t said anything), being called an alt-right person/nazi enabler is just another form of “reputation” that is now being said about her furthering the narrative of the album.
Still holding on to hope that this record is good despite the fact that the 4 singles she's released are either bad or just okay IMO. Regardless of how it's received critically, it's still gonna put up insane numbers and good on her for that.
it's just that out of all of them, he seems to be the blandest and the one she's going the hardest for, narrative-wise. i am endlessly fascinated by her tactics.
it almost feels similar to how boy bands write blank canvas songs so their fans can feel like it's about them....but like...she's picking an actual blank canvas to write the songs about. "call it what you want" I GUESS!
