The fact that the four singles are separate on Apple Music really makes me think the album won't be up on streaming first week

 

I do think it's nice to hear celebs talk about crushes. I think in my head I imagine they can get pretty much anyone they want, so it's just cute hearing about their lil crushes too.

Tho the line about being under the covers and then trusting like a brother was interesting lol. I know what she means but I am pretty sure I made a very weird face when it happened

 

Yea to build hype a while before the album and because an album is still being recorded. Fall out boys album was still being recorded up until a few weeks ago. Bands that don’t put a track list up initially always put it up at some point in the promotion cycle. Pretty sure this is the first time a tracklist has not been released a week before the album comes out...

A Moon Shaped Pool didn't have a tracklist until it was released, for instance

 

These lyrics are so clunky and it’s just a less interesting Lorde song musically. I have no idea what she’s doing. This is so far below what she’s capable of.

 

Nah. Happens a lot. Not in our scene, but lots of artists hide it until the end on streaming services and one sheets.

 

Love this one, automatically my favorite of the four, or tied with Ready at least

 

Interesting that’s the first I’ve heard of it. I know not in our scene, but I hadn’t seen a major release yet that had kept it hidden a week before. The artist listed by that poster above I’m not familiar with.

there's a rumor going around that she's whelming because she's ready to be done with her team at big machine, but i'm not sure there's merit to it. kinda sounds like stans just wanting an excuse for not liking the songs so far.

i do like this one, but it kinda feels anticlimactic at the end. i really love the "all my flowers grew backs as thorns / windows boarded up after the storm" couplet.

 

I like this one right off the bat. Could’ve built up a little more maybe, the chorus almost felt like a prechorus.

I’m resigned to the fact that I’ll probably enjoy this album but it’s not gonna blow me away.

 

This is more like it. Nice tune.
