They play it alllll the time here on the radio probably more often than her new single idk why. I hardly hear her new single here. They're probably gonna start overplaying it in a few months cause they're always late af
it's so strange to me how incredibly late radio is sometimes, even with the biggest of songs. I know it takes a while for songs to really sink into the mainstream, but still! Case in point: Look What You Made Me Do only THIS WEEK hit #1 on the Pop Songs chart, which is weird to me after being top of the Hot 100 for many weeks
My local alt radio station is really bad at this and they always pretend it's a new song. For example, I'd get an email from them this week (signed up for presale codes) that says HEAR NEW MUSIC BY HAIM and it'll be Little of Your Love.
Yeah I'm probably not gonna be to into this. Just never bought into the hype of Speak Now. Every morning ther album shows why Taylor is best when she has a co-writer
judging by the super short clip, it doesn't sound much different than the last two sooooo... fingers crossed this one is better
I feel like Taylor is the best at what I hate the most - which is talking to strangers and pretending to actually care about what they're saying. Those kinda ppl fascinate me. Her secret sessions are wild. it's like... I'm in a room full of people obsessed with me and now I have to try and interact with them knowing this fact while also not letting down any of their expectations. Wild. Life is wild.
Enjoyable enough pop song, flowed perfectly into "I Wish You Would" when Spotify played it next. Seems like she's really given up on writing lyrics, huh? Hard to believe the same woman who wrote "And you call me up again just to break me like a promise, so casually cruel in the name of being honest" has put out three straight songs with such trite lyrics. Hope the other songs explore that part of her skill set.
Based on these first three songs, it seems like we're getting a full-length album of "Blank Space" songs... Taylor writing from a heightened perspective of how the media portrays her. Definitely not what I was hoping for; to me she's best when she's communicating more personal stories.
"you're so gorgeous it actually hurts" is definitely gonna be a fan favorite line okay "I'll just stumble on home to my cats" too
