Just wait until the tour when she steps out of a giant snake's mouth while wearing a leather jacket and opens with a cover of Bad Reputation
Huh. Looks like the font really does seem to be throwing people off. Like I said in her thread, my immediate thought was that the font was meant to call to mind newspaper title font. I like the concept of the art. With the clippings to her right, her picture / makeup being black and white, and the title of the album...it is an interesting visual way to remind us that there is a version of her that only exists in the black and white of print media. It isn't exactly new territory for a popstar, but it's still effective. It's a shame that the font of the album title didn't work for the majority of people. I'm wondering if those working on it were just a little too close to it to see that others might view it in a different light.
Was literally just yesterday talking to someone about the marketing she's been doing and was like "maybe she's finally embracing the villain role she's evolved into" Not that I'm not here for that and to see what exactly she does with it but hot damn
Alright no that art is real bad. The record however will probably make me dance in my bedroom whilst my hands involuntarily apply lipstick to my face so I can't wait
Also honestly even if the whole framing and idea of the cover is overplayed as fuck I'm here for the way she has her hair
