Idek I was so focused on getting sued I didn't pay attn! Dreams are weird. I always wonder how ur brain fills that stuff in? Like I've had dreams where ppl are speaking Spanish but I don't speak Spanish so obv they weren't actually speaking Spanish. And this song doesn't exist so obv it wasn't anything. Brains smh. I wish I could remember the name of the song tho just in case she ever releases one with that name in the future and I'm psychic!
At first I thought it was a compliment because a drunk turtle dozing under a sunflower sounds v pleasant to me
Gotta say.... my show tonight is gonna be the one to beat.... Rotating song: All Too Well Guest: Troye Sivan for "My! My! My! AND Selena Gomez for "Hands To Myself"
Shawn Mendes, troy, and Selena as guests I am officially too old man yelling at cloud. Tho I am warming up to admitting Shawn has some jams tho not enough to not confuse him with Charlie puth or whatever
Lol i just don't care for any of them which is weird because despite loving pop I don't realize how many popstars I dislike or am indifferent to until they're brought up. I mean none of them are awful but it's all zzzzzz. I need someone new to come in and shake things up and/or the Latin dominance to rly takeover.
yeah I feel you somewhat, are we too old for new faves or is mainstream pop just boring the world may never know
Both probably lol. I am just tired of like dj/producer ft interchangable c-list popstar, some whisper singers lulling me to sleep or the indie singers introducing us to their kitchen stereotype. I better get some proper summer jams this year is all I'm saying!! Also, Taylor related I was listening to Dress and my sister asked if it was Leona Lewis wtf. For someone to even think of Leona in the year 2018 (sry sis) and to think her and Taylor's vocals are even in a similar ballpark
I don't need every singer to be Whitney Houston but his vocals are legit bad to me. He almost got me with Youth and I was like oh we're building to a jam and then he dropped the ball and built up to nothing
I’m not really a pop fan, there are some artists I genuinely enjoy like Ariana but most of the attention I pay pop music is out of fascination for the industry as a whole. That said, I am 100% in agreement with Kiana and this especially: I feel like I’m too young to remember the boring, repetitive trends of the 90s/00s and just old enough to be extremely bored by most new pop artists.
Stage outfits are almost always a crime against humanity. Except Taylor's Red tour where they were cute
For being someone whose show is so perfectly calculated, generally, it's cool that she has a section of the show where she can throw in whatever song she wants and kinda go off-script. My favorite time seeing her was during the Red tour, but my favorite live memory of her came from the 1989 tour, technically before it started, in Vegas for a festival. They were basically just doing a run through of the whole 1989 tour set, which was really cool. It was all GA, so I picked a spot early at the stage (like 2 artists before Swift) so I'd have a nice close spot. I was like 20 feet from her, which was awesome. But anyway... my favorite memory from that show was there was a part where she was strapped into a long diving board kinda thing (don't know how else to describe it) but she got stuck and couldn't unhitch it so she could get off of it. So she basically had to be up there for an extra song or two, and she kept mouthing "What the fuck?!" and laughing along with it, haha. It took like 3 people to get her out of it. It was just really cool seeing her be real for a minute, because most of the time at her shows it's just all soooo scripted and done to perfection that it kind of doesn't feel genuine or emotional at all, if that makes sense.
omg it's so cool you were at that show - i've seen the gifs of that moment a million times on tumblr.
