I did lol at her side to side head bob cause it reminded me of dance warm ups like she's out here passing warm up exercises as dancing her choreographer is cackling somewhere. And then when she pretended to actually stumble during the stumbling line lmao I can't handle her existence. But I appreciate her practical clothing even tho I hate all these baggy gym shorts she's been wearing. Glittery sparkly tops are always fun.

I have always loved her dancing-when-she-isn't-a-dancer and this performance is more of it. Something about knowing you aren't the best dancer, but still getting out there and doing it with full gusto is fucking badass

I am obsessed with this album. I bought floor tickets to Toronto. I don’t know what is happening to me (somewhat of a new Taylor fan) but I am not mad about it.

In this boat too. I mean I've always liked Taylor, to varying degrees. Even back in the self-titled days I jammed the big songs a good amount. The first time I really like LISTENED to one of her albums was Red, but I've never been on a level of obsession with her like I have been since this album dropped.

Reputation is 3x platinum as of yesterday. Fearless went Diamond yesterday, too.

    Good for her.

Considering how much I disliked the singles and the album itself for the most part, I can't believe how much it has grown on me.

Like, I really love it now.

See I didn't mind when she just did it in crowds at award shows and I don't judge randos for not being able to dance, but once u incorporate it into ur stage show and it's part of ur job it's like.... Ur doing ur job badly and that isn't cute. I know ppl relate to her mediocrity and find it endearing but it annoys me, partly because I think woc have to be twice as good to get anywhere in the industry and need to be like triple threats and then u have Taylor going tee hee look at my mom dancing I'm so relatable. Not gonna praise u for u being bad at something, Taylor!! The fact that she's convinced ppl to praise her for it instead of eviscerate her up there is just more of her evil genius. I know it's not that ~srs but I can't believe she gets up on stage, does something badly, and gets called badass for it lol.

Like even if she just got the holy ghost in her and started dancing badly on stage I think I wouldn't mind so much. There's something about the fact that she works with a choreographer to purposefully achieve these results I'm like... I'd rather u just save urself the time sis and put it into giving me an acoustic version of gorgeous.

Anyway that's my ott soapbox this fine Tuesday morning.

see the thing is with Taylor that she's so obviously exceptional that she would stop being relatable if she did like a perfect choreo. Like it's part of the brand that she has to suck at some things. but yeah I totally get you.

personally I just thought it was sick that despite the extremely electronic production she still has a real band playing behind her and isn't just rolling a tape.

I know not everyone cares about dancing and that's fine, but there are lots of popstars who can't dance well. Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Ariana grande... So I feel like it's not unique or brave it's kinda the standard rn. So I do find it interesting how Taylor swift has folded it into her brand so effectively and deliberately. She took ~dance like nobody's watching even tho millions of ppl are and ran with it. Like genuinely it is fascinating.

lorde is a great example of not a dancer but still gives you a performance

Tbh some of my fave pop performances didn't involve any dancing at all. I think it's weird that it's like a requirement. If someone genuinely wants to do it that's fine, but I feel bad for ppl who aren't strong dancers and get stuck in like 12 hour rehearsals and then the outcome still isn't great.

Bruno might be the only one left who truly dances

But yeah sometimes the awkwardness is endearing like with Fifth Harmony but with Taylor it sometimes feels like Rizzo singing Look At Me I'm Sandra Dee

When I saw Bruno I expected him to dance more actually! But I had nosebleeds so for all I know he was and I couldn't make out the dancing ant lol

Did ticket prices go up from the presale??? I bought tickets for $57 during presale and now the same seats are like $80

It seems so. I swore I saw tickets for like $45 nosebleeds during presale which are up to over $100 now. If discounts are given to people who buy during presale, that really makes the whole "boost" thing a lot more easily digestible.

Kind of surprised how many tickets are left at both Chicago dates.

I definitely feel better watching those videos a few hundred times if that's the case, which it seems like it is.

They went up by over a $100 per ticket for the ones I purchased, and even more for some of the floor ones. Insane.
