I read TM’s little subpage about fees and they’re trying so hard to deflect them onto the venue and government taxes.
Ticketmaster honestly should be a company that disgusts us all. The entire website is designed to scam the fans buying tickets. The website that is the primary seller of tickets should not legally be allowed to also be the secondary seller and gain double income on the sale of a ticket. What incentive do they have to prevent scalping, when they directly profit off it? They're also shady as hell with their fees. I should be able to see how much your fees will cost before I am in the last page of a ticket purchase.
Taylor has done a lot of things that irritate me, but man, am I so grateful for how she handled her sexual assault case. It makes sense that she would want this to be her first interview since the trial. 'I Was Angry.' Taylor Swift on What Powered Her Sexual Assault Testimony "At the time, I was headlining a major arena tour and there were a number of people in the room that saw this plus a photo of it happening. I figured that if he would be brazen enough to assault me under these risky circumstances and high stakes, imagine what he might do to a vulnerable, young artist if given the chance."
People are being so extra and dumb about her inclusion on Twitter, yeah she has issues with politics and feminism but she still went through this And everyone's all " what about Kesha" and it's like they're friends why is everyone always being pitted against each other
they really are and it's like. if y'all just read the interview. a lot of what she said made me feel represented and heard as a victim. it's not a fucking competition.
Got some 200 level tickets for $150 each after fees. That's what I was expecting to pay for nosebleeds so I'm actually pretty happy. I'll be right in front of one of her side stages too. The real nosebleeds were only like $45 before fees in one area.
I went with 200 level in the third row right near the stage for $200 each after fees. I sat at my computer and contemplated the $800 pit tickets for almost an hour...
Got my tickets! Honestly that was such a smooth transaction and the prices really aren't that bad for a stadium show. I got 4 tickets in the 100 level of the NYC show (ok fine its technically NJ)....came to about $165 after fees. To put it in perspective, last summer I sat in the 100 level for the Paul McCartney show and those were $320 each. Also, while I personally think its pointless to go to a show to sit in the 300 section, there are plenty affordable tickets up there.....I think the cheapest were $60 after fees. I just highly advise against that.....when me and my friends couldn't afford good Eminem seats we bought the cheap seats and you honestly could hear it better in the parking lot.
jealous of all of you guys getting tickets. this close to xmas, i don't want to drop the money on that haha. i wish she would have dropped these tickets back in september or something! i would imagine this dropping right now was a result of them trying to cash in on families buying as gifts, but unfortunately, i'd be buying tickets mainly for myself! i listened to Reputation as soon as it hit Spotify, after only hearing Look What... and Ready For It, and I figured it would end up being sexually explicit, but it was definitely much more than I expected from Taylor freakin' Swift. I was a little bit put off by that, but I Did Something Bad is the JAM.
I remember when he put “Love Lockdown” online afterwards and it didn’t sound the same is the performance and everyone complained so he fixed it to the song we know and love today. He kinda did the same thing with “Runaway” actually. Must be a Ye thing.
Yep, $60. That's where I'm sitting - same seats where I saw her on the 1989 tour. That was definitely a fun time, and I can't afford to sit any closer, anyway (thanks, teacher salary).
Luckily with this show there are at least B stages that she seems to be performing on that'll be closer to the other end of the stadium. For Eminem I swear I couldn't even make out what was happening on the big screens let alone on the stage.
Yeah, I'd assume Taylor Swift is a bit more of a spectacle than Eminem's show, too. Lots of stuff going on the whole time.
I hate saying this but did anyone else find that performance pretty boring? Barely any live vocal in the mix, and I'd much rather see her just move around and do her own thing than be limited to the lackluster choreography
