hopefully there will be non-vip versions of some of the expensive seating which will be significantly cheaper. doesnt seem likely that the entire lower tier would be vip only
Yea I've always figured it would cost like $150 for nosebleeds at the Chicago show. If I get them less than that I'll be happy.
I'm interested to see how much people spend when they also add in how much they spent on boosts + tickets
The most I feel comfortable paying for tickets is like $60 and then I still wish it was like $15 cheaper, any more than that and I'm not going I also use that as an excuse to see more concerts, definitely rather see 10 $40 shows than 4 $100 shows for instance
i can't believe that those prices are BEFORE taxes/fees. fuck. i hate this whole Taylor Swift album cycle.
I paid well less than $100 a ticket to see Paul McCartney AFTER fees for great 100 level seats. I can't wrap my head around these Taylor Swift ticket prices.
To be fair, stadium shows are always gonna cost a lot cuz of the cost for the artist to rent the venue. These prices suck, but I don't think they're that absurd. When I saw Paul McCartney last summer I paid $350 each for lower bowl seats. I think the Eminem/Rihanna show I went to was in that same range too.
Yeah but these prices are at least double that... I've never paid more than $300 for a single ticket. AND these prices are also before fees/taxes. I'm dry heaving just thinking about it... Regular seating: €74.50-€144.00 ($98.82 - $190.73) VIP snake pit: €664.00 ($878.67) Gold Hot Ticket: €721.65 ($956.07) Silver Hot Ticket: €664 ($879.49) Bronze Hot Ticket: €606.20 ($802.18) Lower Bowl Hot Ticket: €577.35 ($764.89)
It's naive, but I always thought that the more popular an artist gets, the lower their ticket prices should be since they'll be selling more of them.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the ones that end in "Hot Ticket" implying they are some kind of VIP package? I think the normal tickets are just $98 - $190 before fees. I could be wrong though.
I know people will say " if people pay those prices it's justified" but I disagree I also sincerely don't know who chooses ticket prices and I think they do that on purpose
yeah they are, but the gold/silver hot tickets are the first 15/25 rows then the bronze are the rest of the floor seats so idk but that suggests to me there arent gonna be any non-vip options for those seats.
Any word on when this will hit Spotify? I'm trying to reserve judgment for my first listen and hoping that the singles work better in context because I still don't like any of them.
These VIP tour packages are pretty cool, but probably not worth the $$$ https://www.ticketmaster.com/taylorswiftvip
No surprise, but this stayed at No 1 for it's second week. What is kind of surprising is that it only sold 256k in it's second week. Thats a HUGE drop from first week numbers. Were the drops for 1989 and Red similar? Taylor Swift's 'Reputation' Album Spends Second Week at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Chart
Don't have time to watch these, but holy shit I want that guitar in the still of that "Gorgeous" video. Must be nice to be able to blow $5k on a guitar like that haha
Sure maybe not lower prices, but I would think the artist would (at least want to) reserve some control of the prices.
Finally wrote about this album last night. It was like 2am so forgive any half-sentences and typos. Review: Taylor Swift – Reputation
