I really like that we see the moment that she comes up with "over and over and over againnnnif I coullld" that's magical

Oh my god she gets so fucking giddy when they are making the part that she came up with the night before, and it's hilarious to watch her singing it

Love the behind the scenes for I Did Something Bad. Cool insights into her creative process!

i’ve been meaning to tell you

Yeah these videos are great. I want to show these to all the people who say she doesn’t write her own songs anymore haha.

I can understand disliking the lyrics in Reputation but she very clearly wrote them haha

  15. the “we were jet set Bonnie & Clyde” part in Getaway Car is my favorite part of this album

People have always tried to argue that she doesn't write her own songs. I got into it with someone on AbsolutePunk about how Speak Now was impressive because there were zero co-writes anywhere. This guy said that the writing credits on that album were a marketing ploy and that she definitely had ghostwriters. It's bullshit.

I'd argue that Taylor Swift is such a good song-writer, the best parts of *other* songs are by her.

looking squarely at you, calvin harris.

Watching those making of videos you are absolutely crazy if you wouldn't want a stripped down record at some point. That solo electric take of Gorgeous was great, imagine an album of that?

Yeah and now I'd like to hear I Did Something Bad without those ackackackackackacks

  22. i was hoping for that this time around, but got the complete opposite... i want a stripped down album so badly. even if it's just re-workings of old songs. those stripped down 1989 songs she did at the grammy party or whatever it was... those were amazing.

Imagine how good Ready For It would be without the rapping or whatever the hell that is

    I do not exist.

I think my favourite three tracks from this are I Did Something Bad, Don't Blame Me and Delicate. Strange they all follow each other!

Sadly I'm finding a lot of the album a bit mediocre and prefer 1989.

Yeah, those were awesome too. I actually do think the synths suit her really well, though. Her songwriting has been at peak level for at least 4 albums but 1989 and this work for me way more than the Nashville sound does.

It'll never ever happen but I think she'd absolutely kill something with like, garagey production.
