Naw Taylor neutralizes all threats. Remember Lorde talking less than enthusiastically about her and by like the next week they were bff's lol
The way she says "byyyaaaaaby" in this song fucking kills me. i'm going to die with it stuck in my head.
Week 2 sales numbers are going to be so interesting. Congrats to her for hitting an unprecedented run of opening week sales figures, but 1.3M is relatively low given opening weekend numbers and her label’s 2M+ projection (which was dumb as hell). It’s looking like she just juiced the hell out of her superfans’ devotion with that Ticketmaster promotion.
I wish it was available for streaming first week because I was curious what kind of records it could break
Album becomes the best selling album of 2017 in one week and someone said it was relatively low what is happening in here
I've heard ppl call it lower than expected cause that 2 million number thrown out before. Was that an expected sales number or the shipping number? Cause I never figured it would get 2 million first week but I mean it's Taylor it's gonna do well. Can't believe anyone thought she would flop
Is 1.3 US sales only? Maybe the 2+ estimate was including international sales? Crazy numbers either way & good for her.
Maybe they thought the Ticketmaster thing would push it closer to 2 million? I had wondered about that, too.
Ok I don't know why I didn't initially lounge King of my Heart, song is great. So It Goes is the only song on this I don't like
This album has grown on me so much with each listen. The only song I really can't stand is This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things. My favorite right now is either Delicate or Dress.
here's a toast to my reaaaaaaaal friiiiiends they don't care about the HE SAID SHE SAID and here's a toast to my byaaaaaaby he ain't readin what they CALL me LATELY and here's a toast to my maaaaaaaamaaaaa may be the most earworm thing she's ever written if my experience of waking up with that stupid bridge stuck in my head every day for a week is any indication.
Great fucking record. The only one that is still bugging me is I Did Something Bad. For some reason, there is a disconnect in that song. It almost sounds like a remix of a song she wrote. Everything else is so good. The back half (Getaway Car -> New Years Day) is Red level good.
The stupid laugh and talking during This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things is easily the worst part of this album.
