I'll be at the Tampa date. If anyone has any boosts they don't plan on using I'd be forever greatful!

Idk, I grew up in a country-centric environment hearing her all the time and REALLY got into her during her Fearless era, but those first two albums just don't have the highs of some of her later stuff. They're really consistent (especially Fearless. That thing has zero filler as far as I'm concerned), but they never get as fantastic as some of the songs she put out later. Fwiw this is my ranking:

    1. Red
    2. 1989
    3. Speak Now
    4. Fearless
    5. Reputation
    6. Taylor Swift

Reputation could easily go up or down with more time, but this is where I'm at now. (Also this is the first ranking I've ever done on here and I'm mildly ashamed)

Ugh I wanna change my ranking again. She's has a tough catalog to rank since theres such drastic genre changes. Sometimes I'm in the mood for some acoustic country so Fearless & Speak Now jump to the top, then other times I'm in the mood for bright pop so Red & 1989 take the crown.

Well I did say not everyone tbh! Just lots of ppl I talk to and see post, anecdotally. I think her first two records are her most consistent. The ones since have higher highs but way lower lows too, except Red which doesn't necessarily have low lows to me but still has songs I'd cut. To my recollection (haven't listened or glanced at a tracklist in a while) I wouldn't rly cut anything from her first two. And Cold As You is still a top tier Taylor song after all this time! If she released an updated piano version or something I would die.

"And I know you wouldn't have told nobody if I'd died for you" sounds like it could be from an early 00s pop punk song tho

Just realized my sister's due date is right around the concert, which is obviously more important to me, but I'm trying to decide if I should still get Chicago tickets or if I should just go for Columbus (my place in line is also higher for Columbus so there's that). I know this matters to none of you but just thinking out loud.

My ranking situation is probably the easiest as 1989 is the first album I bought by her and I’ve only listened to Reputation once so far...

I know, I know. I’ve seen a lot of people highly rate that. One day, perhaps!

I know like half of each of her first 3 albums. One day I have to go back and actually listen to it all.

I haven't been doing the boost thing at all, so if you ended up having to sell them I would def be interested haha.

Getaway Car is sooo so good. I'm only on listen 3 or so but this album is quite good even if as a whole a bit of a letdown after 1989 (which I still think is among the best albums of the last 5 years).

"New Year's Day" is being pushed to country radio at the same time "End Game" is being pushed to pop radio, suuuper interesting

That's super interesting that thought never crossed my mind, but makes a lot more sense why she's been promoting that one. I could see it doing well with a county audience. End Game is about to take over.

I haven't read the entirety of this thread since release, but I imagine I'm not the only one a little down on the guest appearances? The Taylor parts of End Game are great, but it's really not a very strong part from Future. Kinda feels like "hey, Future's on this too!" rather than a good part of the song. Sheeran's part is fine I guess, but I find him a little grating in general so I could do without.

"New Year's Day" doesn't really seem like the kind of song that would get a lot of airplay on country radio right now, but I'd be happy to be wrong. I guess it's not a world away from Carly Pearce's "Every Little Thing," which is the current number one.
