I’ve seen Beyoncé twice, and the rep tour production wasn’t that far behind by any means on spectacle.
Yeah, I love a good spectacle as much as anyone, but the dream is just a Taylor tour where she and a full band play 25 songs a night 100% live from a pool of 40-50. I don't have hope that'd be any time soon, but I could see some kind of acoustic tour years down the road that would be in the ballpark.
I’m not saying I need her to go full jam band, I’m saying even if her set list doesn’t change night in and night out I’d prefer the suspense of a hodgepodge over a chaptered era set list. I won’t be peaking either way so I’ll be going in blind.
She’ll have like 5-10 songs that can get swapped around and it’ll likely be the 2020 Era portion of the set. Everything else will be precisely planned. (Other than special guests)
this is pretty meh for me as a whole. I find myself wanting to like it more than I actually like it. glad others are enjoying it though.
Got the Mahogany Marble version in the mail today. The color is way off. Should have been advertised as translucent. Doesn’t look like the picture advertised. Bummer.
If I’m understanding this email correctly, if you preordered the record from her website you’ve received a boost in the verified fan line.
That seems like something that would be incredibly difficult to manage. However pretty neat if it works out. We are hoping to take my soon to be 7 year old. It would be her first concert. For shows like this has anyone had more luck trying to click for nosebleed seats right away rather than just going with best available or is just clicking as fast as you can the best way to to go?
I'm on swifttok now and I knew what TV stood for but didn't know SV and I learned that apparently some fans call the original songs SV for "stolen version." If I end up getting tickets I'm gonna be v hip to the lingo just you see. They will think I'm the gif of Buscemi with the skateboard.
Having listened to this a bunch of times now - Feels like Middling Swift to me Bejewelled is far and away the worst thing on here, just dull, lifeless pop You're On Your Own, Kid is great - but would be incredible if it just kept building and building for another minute Snow on the Beach is nice, but the Lana inclusion feels completely pointless without giving her a section of the song Labyrinth is the standout IMO
