If this album turns out feeling moody and intimate, I want arena residencies with folklore, evermore, and Midnights setlists coupled with Lover cuts in the encore.
Taylor hasn't come here since the Red tour so I won't hold my breath. Sucks to have to pay for what I'm sure are v expensive tickets plus travel on top of it. I should've just seen her on the Red tour. I tried to win free tickets back then that my work was giving away but failed lol.
Don’t love the cover art but to be fair I’ve never liked her cover art minus 1989 and folklore. Incredibly excited for the music; this description is catnip.
Irresponsible feels like the wrong word, but if Taylor is booking anything besides multiple nights in almost every NFL stadium/large college stadium market, she’s doing a huge disservice to most of her fans.
Her next tour is going to be insanely hard/expensive to get tickets for. My wallet is already sweating.
Not sure if she’d ever do it but I’d love to hear a Brandi Carlile or Jason Isbell produced Taylor Swift record
I've often thought that it would be cool to hear a really stripped down Dave Cobb-produced Taylor record, but having one of those two at the boards would be just as good.
I wonder if this is going to put the TV releases on hold for even longer, or if she's going to drop another one in a few months after the new album is out.
I genuinely was expecting a few more TV releases before any new album. Such a pleasant surprise. Just want to fast forward the next two months.
Mark Ronson would definitely be an interesting choice. I also think it'd be cool to have a more unexpected producer at the helm.
Random thought: being that she has 222 million Insta followers, yet follows 0 accounts herself, is it safe to assume she has her own secret/burner Insta account, in order to follow friends or whatever? Or that she doesn’t interact with social media at all, but for marketing?
I'd assume she has another private account under an alias and whatnot. I've come across a few artists that do that.
