I love the drums on this. Got a real lofi bedroom pop vibe in a lot of places. Wouldn’t have been convinced she could pull this off until now. Midnight Rain and Question are both soooo good

“Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve” sounds like it’s from the evermore sessions. Probably would have been (could have been? should have been?) in my top half of that record too.
Anti-Hero is a classic Swift song and I hope I hear it everywhere all the time. That and Snow are probably my two favorites right now. I like the whole album but my early impression is that I love the first half and an less sure about the second (although Bejeweled and Mastermind rule). Good stuff and this and The 1975 have me geeking out about Jack for the billionth time in like four years.
Man, I can't imagine the insane royalties Jack will be getting for all these huge albums he's worked on these last several years, especially these TS albums.
just woke up to the news of 7 more songs. will listen soon. in the meantime, someone on Reddit pointed out that the label apparently made the digital booklets for both versions free to download (although only the standard one has lyrics for some reason). Midnights by Taylor Swift
Ha so the 3am tease was actually something big, that’s wild. I do love that the album is succinct at 13 and these are considered extras. I love a concise, flowing full album with a vibe. it’s also wild that this is the way to get the most out of streaming numbers, instead of dropping a rerelease in a year like bands used to do.
