I wonder if Etsy people ever make alternate vinyl covers? You'd still have to buy the original product from the artist to have the record, but perhaps storing it in a different way. Honestly, a lot of consumers buy vinyl primarily to display it anyway.
Yeah, could never justify that. Is "I Bet You Think About Me" the last track of Side G or the first track of Side H? Edit: Actually that can't even be possible. Is ATW 10min version just one whole side?
Side G is “Message in a Bottle, “I Bet You Think About Me,” “Forever Winter,” and “Run.” Side H is “The Very First Night” and ATW 10.
I’m half way through. It’s solid. Everything is good, except “Vigilante Shit” “Maroon” and “You’re On Your Own Kid” are the highlights so far.
lots of jams here, "maroon, "anti-hero," "snow on the beach," "labyrinth," the greatest song of all time "you're on your own, kid" (taylor listens to rilo kiley confirmed!!!!! j/k) even "vigilante shit" is kinda beguilingly weird instead of straight up awful
I’ve found Vigilante Shit and Karma to be among the most memorable songs here after a few listens, this thread and I are not on the same page haha
I'm almost at the point where I'd call "Better Man" to "I Bet You Think About Me" my favorite five-song run in her discography.
I'm a little cooler on "Babe" than I am on the rest of those. But I did just have the "best five-song run in her discography" thought last night when I was spinning folklore. Side B of that album is just fucking incredible.
I've always been on team evermore, but its been a long minute since I gave folklore a spin, so I'll change that soon
Little over halfway through and the only songs I've really enjoyed so far are You're On Your Own Kid, Anti-Hero and Vigilante Shit. I know this will grow on me but... this is kinda underwhelming atm
Yep, it's the perfect side. I'm not quite as big a fan of "my tears riccochet" but those other 4 songs are 100% my pick for the best four song run in her discography.
"seven" is the one of those four I love a tad less, but it's still wonderful. The "screaming at the sky" bit on "tears" totally elevates it for me.
yep yep. just threw it on. the little electronic flourishes on her voice in "my tears riccochet" are a trick her and Jack definitely repeat on Midnights.
Really liking this so far. Not sure I like that vocal effect part in Midnight Rain though, the rest of the song is great.
