My brother in-law always loved the movie Heavyweights growing up, in particular the moment when Ben Stiller raids the kids’ candy supply they snuck in to their cabin and he says this:

I decided to listen to ‘Lover’ again today and it’s such a solid album to end her electronic pop stage at.

Afterglow is a banger.

 

i had a dream that i somehow ended up at her house and got to hear cuts off the album. it felt like a more-experimental extension of evermore, with track 4 being a sequel to marjorie. one of the songs also featured Florence Welch. that's all i can remember, haha. doubt any of that is happening.

I first read that as 4 tracks being a sequel to Marjorie. That'd be ambitious.

 

When Evernore was released and I heard Marjorie I was like "wow this is so sad I'm grateful I've never lost anyone that close to me before." And then like three months later my grandma died. Like taylor sis I know u try to be relatable but dial it down a notch.
