i think the only thing i would buy from this merch drop is the vinyl box, and i'd put all of my TS albums in there to clear up some space on my shelf. but i'd only buy it if it were like... $40 cheaper
the folklore and evermore merch wasn’t too bad, but yeah not feeling much of this it’s no phoebe bridgers pasta shirt
the thing i hated most about the Folklore merch was it all said "Folklore Album" on it... like, yeah, no shit it's the album!
Didn’t they have to do that because there’s a brand called Folklore and they had to avoid infringement?
probably. but it ruined all the designs for me. if nothing else, they could have just left the album name off. "Folklore Album" is just so weird.
I have either a folklore or evermore era shirt of hers that dyes my skin green every time I wear it even after multiple washes. The Red re-release sweater I have from her is itchy. It has to be some spectacular looking merch for me to give it a shot now.
The one and only TS merch I ever was like "I need this" was the TS and Stella Hoodie, which I am currently wearing and because I washed it too much, it faded so I did my own tie dye on it this summer. Actually looks better now than when I got it. the colors were too light.
It’s especially bad because you look at all the bootleg merch on Etsy and you can find some really cool designs. I’m 100% not advocating for stealing from artists, just saying there’s a lot of great inspiration around. Midnight Taylor Swift Retro Album Tee Music Album Cover - Etsy
Yeah I was asleep by 10pm last night. I can't do any more of these up till midnight just for a friggin song title.
my friend just sent me this site for "taylor merch". Cute stuff! Welcome to our Storyline – Storyline Jewelry & Apparel
the closest i've ever gotten to considering purchasing a piece of Taylor Swift merch is one of those unofficial death metal-styled shirts. i know she'd never do it, but part of me thinks it'd be badass to do something similar when reputation gets rereleased, lmao.
Yeah, Redbubble also has a lot of cool designs for Taylor Swift clothing including Folklore shirts that don’t say Folklore Album. Redbubble, like Etsy, is a rabbit hole of literally any esoteric pop culture references you’d otherwise think would never be on a shirt or whatever but there it is nevertheless.
