Don’t know how far in advance offers go out but pretty sure she said no cuz she was working on booking international dates and has a date in Japan the day before the Super Bowl. Also she’s stated she doesn’t want to play it until all her re records are out. 2025 seems like a safe bet

 

People on Reddit are saying that she’s “above” the Super Bowl and it would not be worth it and all this shit and convinced she will never do it, but I think she definitely will at some point in the next few years. Sure you have to finance the performance yourself and do not get paid, but it is absolutely a cross off the bucket list thing for major artists and I imagine Taylor wants to cross it off. Same with Coachella, although I do not think 2024 is the year for that either.

 

2024 Coachella will happen imo. Super Bowl will happen either 2025 or 2026

Super Bowl sure. Part of me thinks she can't really do Coachella cus it would kinda ruin it for everyone else but I guess it like sells out before they even announce the lineup so Swifties would just make resale impossible for everyone else.

 

I mean she was gonna play Glastonbury in 2020 before covid. If they had enough to pull her in 2020 Coachella could pull her in 2024 and the Super Bowl could get her after her re records are all out

 

To be fair, she was nowhere near as popular in 2020 (before her surprise albums dropped) as she is now. Lover was not a super successful album, and, while still popular, was definitely at one of the lowest points of her popularity (since she became a mega star at least). The demand to see her definitely existed back then, but it was nothing like it is now. Everything that has happened since the pandemic with Taylor (Folklore/Evermore, Re-records, Tour, etc.) has brought back the fans who checked out during Lover (and even Reputation too), so it's completely different than 2020. There are a ton of new (and old but resurrected so to speak) fans who would make a festival performance a mess in terms of not only resale but also crowd control, the vibe of thhe festival that year (would she have every other stage closed down during her performance a la Beyonce?, for example), and camping at the main stage blocking people from enjoying the other acts on the stage that day (I know, a lot of artists fans do this, but Taylor is the biggest artist at the moment so it would be a big campout the whole day).

When I said I think she will do Coachella, I meant down the line when she's not at this current height of popularity/where there will be less of a demand like we are seeing with the Eras Tour.

 

If the halftime show and Coachella is good enough for beyonce it's good enough for taylor lol
