I had a ticket for Saturday's Cincy show, missed it due to food poisoning, and of course that was the date Aaron showed up.

 

That’s a bummer. I recognize that I’m in the minority probably, but I’d just throw on a pair of depends and go anyway. :)

i did one break after phoebe and before taylor but for us dudes there weren't any lines or anything to contend with. MRA guys everywhere "finally" caught a break.

I had food poisoning at a Thrice concert once. Missed every opener, but was clear by the time they came on

I did! One of the friends I was going with bought my ticket and that allowed her little boy to go to the show--which made his year, so that was worth it

 

I learned recently that the clean versions of Taylor's songs since folklore often have actual word replacement rather than just bleeping out the word, so I have been listening to the clean version of explicit songs out of curiousity. Only through folklore and evermore right now, but it's pretty interesting. On "betty" instead of "would you tell me to go fuck myself" becomes "would you tell me to go straight to hell" and honestly it works just as well! Two earlier songs on the album just bleep out the curse, but two or three tracks on folklore are full word/term replacement, and I know all the Midnights tracks have alternate vocal takes. I dunno, I just find it pretty interesting to hear her sing slightly alternate versions
