History suggests that she doesn't like spoiling the best stuff on the album ahead of time, and the two 2020 albums showed that she didn't need a single to drum up anticipation. I really am not expecting one.
She realized her first singles aren't representative of the album (shake it off, made me do,me!) And she wants to break the curse
Yeah I'd be fine with no single. Singles are a way to build up hype for a release, and she just doesn't need that at this point in her career.
I'd be fine without a single too. The only reason I was expecting one is because she announced the album far enough in advance for a normal rollout.
I think that was more because she wanted to really push the vinyl for those first week sales numbers, since it seems like these are supposed to be ready to ship.
I’m a few pages behind but: Red Folklore Speak Now Fearless Evermore 1989 Reputation S/T Lover I’m sorry but Lover sucks.
Had a dream the vinyl showed up a month early on everyone’s doorstep who pre-ordered, fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
