even if this was planned/recorded after the podcast and before she started dating Matty, it still reads as somewhat of a PR move, and one that would help save face to some extent. feels gross, and regardless of whether Ice Spice is either cool with it, isn't cool with it but is somehow obligated to promote the song, or isn't cool with it but is separating Taylor's association with Matty from their work together/respect for one another, it shouldn't negate the fact that Taylor is comfortable associating herself with people who conflate racism and body shaming with humor.

i know this whole situation has been discussed ad nauseam here and on social media, but it's still just a bit disheartening.

These are Canada plant pressings of the Target exclusive, whereas the France pressings which were sold in the US Target have the correct color. I don’t understand… so they’re alleging that they had already cast the dye pellets and sent a bunch of records out, but also hadn’t finished pressing the full amount before the complaints started coming in, so the plant put the whole thing on hold until they could come up with a new master lacquer using the same pellets? That doesn’t comport at all with how this industry works from my (limited) understanding.

 

Spotify didn’t delete the episode, the podcast folks took it down.
