went last minute, what a show. and Phoebe was fantastic too, so glad she opened for this leg of the tour
I love this. Curious how long until we finally move on from the narrative that she's mostly a "young girls" artist and is an artist for multi-generations and men and women. This website alone shows how many guys love her music, too.
and even if that was all she wrote, it’s still relatable and something people connect with. people get hung up on the weirdest things.
The stigma or whatever you want to call it surrounding guys listening to or loving the music from female singer songwriters or female fronted bands needs to fucking go. So many boys/men are missing out on great music because of toxic masculinity and society’s expectations of what they should and shouldn’t be a fan of.
Not to pile on, but especially because her take on exes is still 1000% more mature and less toxic than any pop punk band that writes about relationships.
Not gonna lie, folks, after the shitshow of the Nashville rain show I’m a bit mad that Boston is getting the magical rain show. Not that seeing Taylor play until almost 2am wasn’t amazing and worth it… but like. Edit: we got much better surprise songs though so I’ll lick my wounds in peace.
Yup. One of my co-workers said "I hope your wife has a blast!" when I told her I was going. F you, I have been listening to Taylor for 15 years and my voice was just as hoarse as hers the next day. She writes incredible music and I am completely unashamed to say that. And this is coming from a guy who wore a TOOL shirt to the show, haha
