I like midnight rain and karma as much as anything on lover but there’s like 8 or 9 songs on lover at that level
for all the shows I’m looking at, even the behind-the-stage tickets are well over $1k. In the heat of the moment I could convince myself to spend several hundred on tickets, but I refuse to sit behind the stage lol
Yeah, this is definitely the case. Both of them fall off in the second half for me, but Midnights feels less wobbly as a full listen. That said, there are definitely 7-8 song on Lover I like more than anything off Midnights.
Last night was one of the most incredible productions I’ve ever seen. She and her entire crew knocked it out of the park. I really hope they release it as a film like the last couple tours.
I wish “Hits Different” was on streaming services so I could add it to my summer playlist this year. Is there an official version for sale anywhere (besides Target I’m not doing that)? What’s the best available version?
people on TikTok have worked up theories that it might be on the soundtrack for the Barbie movie. we'll see...
It took over six months for the Target exclusive tracks on 1989 to hit streaming, so we're probably looking at a similar timeline. Which should realistically be any day now, hah.
I wish I liked this album more. This and Reputation are at the bottom of my post-Red rankings, and Reputation might even have higher highs. I feel like Lavender Haze absolutely nailed the late night dark pop vibe I wanted, and nothing else on the album comes close to it in quality. Hope I feel differently down the line.
Production holds just went on sale for Atlanta and Ticketmaster no longer recognizes me as an Atlanta verified fan so I can’t get tickets. Lame.
my guess is that they removed it from people who have tickets in other cities. my friend transferred me mine for the Nashville show that she got through on.
