Wildest dreams Style State of Grace Red Exile Invisible string The lakes got into Taylor with 1989 so I’m drawing from a smaller pool but these are my tops
Blank Space Our Song my tears ricochet Death by a Thousand Cuts Love Story everything else is wrong. Have original ATW ranked at 13. Again the only place it should be.
My list probably changes a lot due to song fatigue. Like I love all too well but played it so much during the re-release that it'd prob rank lower with me rn cause I'd rather listen to just about any other song of hers lol. Just depends on my mood.
1) one of her most successful songs and self-deprecating lyrics 2) her “first song performed live” also bop from debut 3) her truly most heartbreaking song; talks about the hurt from Scott Borchetta being a businessman about her masters (also represents her respected by music critics era) 4) maybe her best bridge and showed herself not every song needs to autobiographical all the time 5) the song that pushed her to the mainstream (even though I’m way more partial to YBWM)
1989 Folklore Red Midnights Fearless Lover Speak Now Evermore Reputation I think this is shaking out around here for me. It's probably her most consistent album, the only song I don't love at this point is Vigilante Shit.
Her voice is so different on it. I would just wait til Debut TV comes out, probably. There’s some great songs on it though.
With how many floor seats I’ve seen given out via the second chance thing, I gotta wonder if they quietly yanked seats from scalpers
Very likely, scrubbing for scalpers is a common practice, a service that is actually provided by big bad TM
I ranked her albums on her birthday and ended up with this: 1. Fearless (Taylor’s Version) 2. evermore 3. Red 4. reputation 5. folklore 6. Midnights 7. 1989 8. Taylor Swift 9. Lover 10. Speak Now Don’t like how low folklore is, but my increased listening to evermore has taken from that one’s spins. Also too soon to know how much recency bias is pushing Midnights over 1989, but that currently feels right to me.
So she’s posting about these prestige movies on her socials because she wants to be in the directors next ones right ?
all too well the short film may qualify for an Oscar so I think she’s playing the mutual admiration schmooze game
haha that’s probably it. It’s just so sus because she doesn’t post anything else personal these days so it sticks out like a sore thumb
that's what I was thinking. before the second chance thing, they said that all tickets were completely sold out, not one left. So they must have somehow got those bot/scalper tickets back.
My friend was boosted and didn’t get second chance for Nashville sadly. Didn’t seem to be sent to everyone
