I know it’s manhattan, but I feel like $45k per month(!) should get you a lot better than that

Honestly I've seen tiktoks of people touring that house and obv it's more luxe and better than my own but it's not all that great for the price imo. But I find a lot of celebrity places kinda ugly and tacky.

Now that we’ve had over a month with it, what’s everyone top 3 from the album?

Mine are probably Midnight Rain, Maroon, and Bigger Than The Whole Sky.

Probably Anti-Hero, Midnight Rain, and Mastermind, but I don’t feel strongly about it

I was talking to a friend about this, but it’s a hard album for me to rank because I feel like it has lower highs and higher lows than her other albums

I agree. It’s a very consistent album, but it’s consistently not too high or too low comparatively to her catalogue as a whole.

I think I've settled on it being her second worst album, which isn't really a slight. Just feels a little inert compared to most of her records.

changes most days, but probably Maroon, Question...?, and Hits Different at the moment.

  18. Hits Different, Lavender Haze, Anti Hero, and Bejeweled are the only ones I’ve really been going back for willingly.

I’m kinda here too. It hasn’t grabbed me in any sort of way.

I’ll probably give it another go in the new year. The 1975 coming out a week before this also didn’t help.

Sweet Nothing skyrocketed for me, such a subtly clever little thing

Then maybe you're on your own kid and midnight rain

You’re On Your Own Kid, Question, Bejeweled… maybe idk I could switch out a lot

  24. Midnight Rain, Anti-Hero, Question...?, The Great War and Dear Reader have settled as the ones I go to the most. I'm also fond of Maroon and Vigilante Shit + Snow On the Beach both end up in my head pretty frequently even though I wouldn't call them my favorites. (I realize the question was top 3, but... yeah, I got nothin)

This album’s not in my Taylor Top 5, but it’s pretty much settled into my 6th or 7th slot. Think I like it a hair more than 1989 overall in spite of not having that one’s hard-hitting highlights, though that could still be recency bias?

If I’ve gotta limit my favorite tracks to three, I gotta say “Snow on the Beach,” “Vigilante Shit,” and… “Question…?”…? But, really, “You’re On Your Own, Kid” & “Midnight Rain” & “Lavender Haze” are all on roughly the same tier.
