The one that really irritates me is when people want to link spotify accounts or whatever to "prove you listen"
So they’re just … cancelling the sale of tickets? Like did they sell all of the remaining tickets or are they gonna try another code bullshit?? What a disaster.
I'm definitely feeling more cynical about live music than I was a few days ago, that's for sure. "I repeatedly listen to my favorite artist's songs for free on a streaming platform. Beat that!"
So. Assuming their reasoning is that the verified fan presale and Capitol one presale broke their servers so much they anticipate that the general sale would basically make their website explode into a million pieces. but are they going to let the waitlist people fight over the remaining general? Are they gonna release them as platinum tickets in the future? Do only VIPs get them from Ticketmaster corp? Did they oversell during the presale? What even.
My guess - they’re going to do local giveaways for what’s left. Radio stations, things like that. I’d bet they oversold the presales and their code actually allows for that.
They're going to scalp them via their own platform. They'll be listed as "Verified Resale" or something like that.
Tbh, it sure looked like they listed most of the tickets in the stadium between the two presales. I say this as someone who probably tried to buy half of the seats in the venue at some point over the past 48 hours.
i think theres gonna be more coded sales quite possibly the biggest disaster in ticketing history and hopefully the thing that brings down this fucking horrific organization
