Continuing my reading of the Pitchfork reviews this morning. I think the 1989 is the only one that isn't super insightful or interesting to read. It seems to meander in search of a point.

Listening to the older albums, I never noticed how prominent the male accompanying vocal is in a lot of the songs. Maybe I’m noticing more because she doesn’t have that anymore. Anyway, it’s almost distracting but not a huge deal.

 

I’ve been/will be bringing my personal laptop to work all week in case this leaks during the day. No shame. I know I’m buying a copy on Friday.

 

ppl on twitter are losing it over prospective leaks and it's like friends, i promise multi-millionaire taylor swift will survive if we hear the album 24 hours before we go to target to purchase 4 different version of it.*

Easy Silence is one of The Dixie Chicks’ best songs. I hope her collab with them is in the same style

 

So awesome that she has Benjamin Francis Leftwich (I call him Benjamin Sandwich) on this, as well as Dermot, my favorite JEW song, and the best 90s song ever, "I Love You Always Forever."
