Don't like it quite as much as "The Archer" (which I was late to but have been obsessed with lately), but still like it a whole lot. Finally feel myself getting excited for this album, which feels nice.

 

This is so awesome.

And woah Jack— that bridge gave me major Steel Train vibes.

Nice to see her bizarre streak of headfaking me with bad first singles continues, lol.

 

Best one so far by a pretty wide margin for me. Give me the rest nowww

 

I like to think that they've each done a surprise guest vocal feature on the other's album.

It’s kind of funny how excited I am to hear acoustic guitar on a Taylor Swift song again.

 

I was SO happy when the song started because I really had no idea what to expect with the way this rollout has been.

 

“With every guitar string scar on my hand” is such a good line.

 

In retrospect, one of the things I missed most on Reputation.

This and “The Archer” have gotten me reallllly excited for this record again. They’ve even helped fill out the sound of the first 2 singles. I like the direction this one is going. More of what I expected when we first saw the promo photos.

 

I love, love, love when Taylor channels Joni Mitchell and that's what those initial promo photos felt like, so I'm hoping this and Archer are more in line with that aesthetic. I can't believe it's coming out next week already!

This song is cute! I still don’t like it quite as much as the Archer, but she is 3/4 from me so far and I can’t wait to swing by a Target to buy a cd on my way to work next week haha.

 

Each of these songs makes me like Me and YNTCD more and more, too. It’s slowly creating a palette that’s making sense.

 

Holy hell this song is great. Was totally not what I was expecting.
