I also feel like even if this is for children that's okay, the fact that she allows young girls to feel seen is one of her most important qualities

 

This song is so much better on second listen after a night of sleep. Absolutely how the next tour is gonna end a la TIWWCHNT and it’s gonna be massive.

 

Also, how is this any more “for children” then anything else she’s done? The spelling is cool line is a joke; she’s not actually targeting kindergarteners lol.

 

also there’s a Venn diagram of Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie technically singing a Taking Back Sunday song title in my music history and it’s very much something I’m here for

 

I thought maybe when I listened this morning I would like it less than last night because of how much everyone (not just people here) is ripping on it, but I’m happy to report I still completely love it. It just puts me in such a great mood.

that music video was insane haha. the song is ok. not in love with it, but i like it much more than 99% of everything from Reputation, so i'll call it a win!

Song is catchy, pretty good! Lots of one note melodies, which I’m a big fan of. The bridge is cheesy but doesn’t ruin the song imo

Song is alright, doesn't blow me away but it could grow on me

 

Only listened to the song once, but I didn't like it at all unfortunately. I need to listen more though, and I'm sure it will grow on me. Still super excited for an album because I know I'll love it

 

Honestly I'm more just happy for brendon being featured to such a massive audience

I like the song a lot. Brendon really shines through, especially near the end, to such an extent that it sounds like a Panic! song. I'm also pro-talking/spelling bridge portion

Not as much of an instant earworm as Shake It Off, but still very catchy. Been playing it a lot over the last 10 hours or so.

 

I'm decidedly not a fan of Swift's, really never have been, but I checked this out because Brendon was on it and it is in fact a Good Song™. Is Brendon a co-writer on this because it sounds like his fingerprints are on it in some way.

 

Yea I actually think it's fun when Taylor does talking portions because they're just so ridiculous that it just feels self aware enough to be good
