Probably a cupid reference, given the whole "Lover" theme but I don't want it to be track 5 because she never releases her good stuff this early
OK I have to admit, I am not fully on board with this whole "Track 5" thing that now exists. Cold As You, White Horse... ok whatever, they're good I guess. All Too Well, obviously the #1 fan favorite and the reason this lore exists for Track 5. All You Had To Do Was Stay... one of MY favorites, but never seemed like a big fan favorite or anything that people go gaa-gaa for. And then Delicate, easily one of the best songs on rep, but I never felt like anyone lost their collective minds over it like All Too Well. Getaway Car or New Years Day seem like the two songs that would actually fit into the lore. Anyway, my point is that this "Track 5" thing came out of nowhere and there isn't a lot of juice behind it. Hoping The Archer is great though, obviously.
Getaway Car Should’ve Been A Single: A Dissertation on Everything Done Wrong When Launching reputation by Garrett L.
I see it more as "track 5 tends to be emotional deep cuts with A+ lyrics" than mega popular, but if it's supposed to be about popularity then I'd agree with you
Think @Jason Tate would publish a co-written piece where we choose an album once a month and relaunch it for people?
OMG people are going to lose their shit, apparnently the deluxe edition magazine/booklet things will have the "original lyrics to All Too Well"
Thank goodness, because my wireless headphones died and my boss came back to the office so I've missed most of it
Breakdown: She's on the set of a music video (which we will see "soon enough") She wanted to do something retrospective with Lover Each Deluxe Edition has 30 pages of scans from Taylor's diaries (120 total over 4 editions) She worked with Jack for a "vast part" of the album The Archer (Track 5) will be out...like now Cupids and arrows were Easter Eggs The Archer is NOT the next single
