Oh my god, in the write up for the "worst songs," the first sentence she writes form "ME!," the song which is ranked the single worst song, she says "I don’t think “Me!” is Taylor’s worst song ever"
“Let’s name her perfectly average song. The one right in the middle.” In this essay on “Lover,” the song not album, I will....
Hey Stephen You're Not Sorry Change Never Grow Up The Last Time Sad Beautiful Tragic The Lucky One Ready for It I Did Something Bad Look What You Made Me Do So It Goes King of My Heart Just had a quick look through her albums and these are the ones that stuck out as my least favs. Could probably add a few more from Reputation honestly.
"I Did Something Bad" is a bad title to a song you've never heard, but then you listen to it and it doesn't matter because the actual song is good.
If I ranked the songs from Reputation, I Did Something Bad would probably be second or third from the bottom. Literally sounds like an Imagine Dragons song to me
Looking at the track list the only songs I’m not a fan of there are Look What You Made Me Do, I Did Something Bad, and Hands Tied. Not the biggest Getaway Car fan either, but I don’t hate it — just a little too vanilla, like Antonoff on autopilot. Otherwise I actually really like that record a whole lot
don't act like that's crazy, it's the only song Taylor didn't perform on her rep tour, she basically agrees
Ugh I didn't mean EVER. It was only part of the rotating song list and wasn't full band, every other song from the album was full production
FYI (source is The Athletic) Status: Construction continues. One worker on site has tested positive and another was “presumed positive,” per the LA Times. The sprawling site, which includes a mixed-use development, has about 5,000 workers at any one time. The project is considered “critical infrastructure” and exempt from Gov. Gavin Newsom’s March 19 stay-at-home order. Ground broke on the nearly 300-acre project site in November 2016. A message was left for construction manager Turner-AECOM Hunt.
Literally switched from a google chat with my friend who works at a construction company where I was talking about how it's weird to me that construction is considered essential, then came here and saw this. It's so weird to me
Her worst songs for me are: Girl at Home Hey Stephen Innocent The Lucky One Bad Blood I’m also in the minority of thinking reputation is her best front to back album.
Starlight will always be my least favorite after my girlfriend said it’s the same melody as 3oh!3’s Don’t Trust Me
