Confession time. I was never a big Taylor fan, Reputation was the album that made me a fan. Part of it was not having access on Spotify, I'm stubborn like that and don't like to deviate from my one way to listen to music haha. Anyways, point is that I still haven't listened to Red and I'm going to change that tomorrow!
For me Nice Things takes the top song with the "and here's to my baaaaybaaaay" verse. I found that whole part delightfully different than what I'd expect from her and I love the melody and the inflection in her voice. When she says "had to listen to ALL this DRAMA" it kinda reminds me of Hayley Williams in her delivery
This is a take. It’s your take, I respect that. But this is a take. “Holy Ground” is the goat T Swift song
I didn’t say bad, I said least favorite. And it’s probably my second favorite Taylor album at this point so least favorite is still pretty good all things considered
I'd say I'd give anything to be able to hear Red for the first time again but... I needed that album so badly when it came out so I can't
If I remember correctly Red came out around the time of my breakup so it was v timely. I even accidentally quoted her when my ex tried to call me (from jail lmao) to get back together and I was like "...yeah we're never ever getting back together... Like ever.'
When the new album drops and we can have discussions solely about that, I'm sure that'll be the focus. Otherwise, I fail to see how discussing past work is harmful, or how it's helpful to be passive aggressive about it. Anyway, I keep hearing the behind the scenes stuff is so adorable and I'm so mad I can't watch any of it at work
I don't think we need to get into it, but if we spend 100% of the time in an album thread talking about that specific album, this website would be boring as shit.
When I pressed play on that record and the first verse in "State of Grace" hit, I knew it was going to be an all-timer.
There’s a cool quote feature on the site. And I wasn’t being passive aggressive about the Reputation discussion in this thread.
