Big Machine simply would not exist in its current capacity without Taylor Swift. The investment from her family built the label and in return she trusted him, despite being asked to sign a predatory 6 album deal. I’m sorry, I don’t care what went wrong- it makes Scott look like such a small man to be this unprofessional and punitive to a woman who gave him the life he has. The bright side is that if it gets pushed to court, Taylor could legitimately revolutionize the music industry.

There cannot be legal grounds to bar her from actually performing them right? How is it a re-recording unless she literally sells the recordings of those performances? But who knows it is the music industry so I guess it wouldn't be as shocking as it seems. What do Scooter and Scott think they are going to achieve from this? It is literally just them spitting in her face. Even if she re-records every song SHE ever wrote, it's not going to stop people from listening to the old recordings, they will make their fortunes regardless. For gods sake does she not just deserve to celebrate for once without entitled men getting in her way.
