Really great remix, and I usually hate when remixes add another artist. New little flourishes musically are really nice, Shawn sounds great, it's a very cool companion to the original

 

Cool remix, I like it but it’s not on the level of the original for me.

 

I feel like the upcoming album will be all remixes/new features of Lover songs? Or is this just a push to get Lover up the charts? Could also see the re-recorded songs.

 

i don't think she can start the re-recordings until fall of 2020, if i remember right.

 

Just to kinda temper expectations a bit, the article states a new "record" out other than the Cats song. FYI that "record" in industry speak just means "single" much of the time. And surprise, we got a new record today.

Obviously could be more, but let's not get our hopes up

Kinda feel like saying fuck you and performing anyway is the best scenario for part of it. It downright forces a legal precedent battle over performance rights. I don’t think you find a single judge that goes against the artist as a right to perform their works. In the age of the iPhone and YouTube, any concert is a re-recording.
