I don't blame them for not announcing who's playing it. Taylor can easily sell out these places. If other artists were announced, fans of those artists would also try to get tickets when it's already hard enough as it is.
It 100% makes sense to not announce the other artists playing, but at least just give a little about what this "fest" is. I mean I guess when you know it's going to sell out regardless why bother, but still. This is just an odd direction to go in the search of more intimate shows. I think it's really just going to be a normal show, but with bigger openers than she would normally have. Like maybe some other artists who could sell arenas (Panic! is the obvious one that comes to mind).
I guess I’m going to the Friday show at Gillette lol. My girlfriend was in the waiting room for like 3 hours and I guess got me a ticket haha. Cannot wait to TaylorGate!
Getting real sad I’m not going to LoverFest now that the bitterness of her choosing just those two cities for concerts this cycle is wearing off
today I was hanging with a kid and out of nowhere they were like "do you know that song that says 'you can't spell awesome without me'?" I said yes. She then said "I hate the part that says 'hey kids, spelling is fun!' Spelling isn't fun at all. I hate spelling." The children have spoken.
Got in the queue for the general on sale yesterday just for the hell of it. Wound up being able to get pit for night one at Gillette fairly easily, despite not getting let in until 4:45. Downside: they were $519.50 plus fees. I checked with my friends, they didn't care, so, I pulled the trigger. Immediately listed my night two tickets on TM resale for what I thought was a reasonable price (and enough to cover my price difference) and they sold within 20 minutes. Works for me!
Over $500 to see Taylor Swift? Or anyone for that matter? Huuuuge no for me! I mean... i got roundtrip tickets to Australia for $500, haha!
Yeah I wasn't...super excited about it, but both of my friends wanted to do it and I was pretty sure I'd be able to recoup the difference by reselling the other seats. Turns out, I was right. So, in reality, if you consider my "profit" from the other seats, our true cost for pit wound up being ~$375.
I would truly love to see Taylor, but I can’t bring myself to sit in nosebleeds and watch the show on a screen OR pay half a month’s rent to see her perform for two hours. I hope this one ends up on Netflix too :(
Yeah I was trying to see if I could morally justify spending $200 on Gaga tickets and I couldn't and I also get that it can be isolating in the bleachers
damn i wish i had checked earlier. totally forgot about it with work. would definitely have spent that money for pit - that's cheaper than the rep tour
