I love All Too Well but I guess I don't understand why it's making a big comeback right now? Glad she did DBATC, that song is fantastic.

 

because it's a crowd pleaser and it's one that she can play with just her and a piano.

 

I also think it didn't really fit in her last two album cycles. With 1989 she was trying to assert herself in the pop world and it was so huge that those songs took up all the space. It just didn't fit in with the reputation themes at all. Lover is a step back towards the singer-songwriter style and such a fan favorite that it makes sense to bring it back in the fold now.

It seems almost surreal to have someone as big as Tay do a Tiny Desk. I can’t wait to hear it!

 

After Lizzo absolutely destroyed her Tiny Ass Desk set, my expectations for this are through the roof.
