I have the same "problem" with this album as I do with the new Lana which is the standout tracks in the beginning are so good that I just want to loop back around to them and don't make it thru the rest of the album that I'm sure is also v good.

 

yeah this definitely isn't just frontloaded and I hope you eventually make it to It's Nice To Have A Friend and Daylight haha

I think the whole album’s good and has grown on me quite a bit but the second half crushes the first for me. Cornelia, false god, YNTCD, afterglow, and friend are joined only by cruel summer from the first half in my favorites.

 

SYGB is top tier T Swift.

 

SYGB is great but having it next to London Boy in the tracklist is very jarring

Not huge on Keith Urban, but it's a credit to his musicianship (and his band's) that it sounds damn good for winging it.

 

Holy christmas Death By a Thousand Cuts was a 'oh, this a cool song' on first and now I'm like 'okay this is top tier Taylor for sure'
