"The Last Great American Dynasty" is quickly becoming one of my favorite songs, I love her writing on that one.

 

Then again, Betty didn't get BNM. That doesn't seem like a good sign for a super high score from them. Also it's insane.

 

the write up was extremely, overtly positive though, which is why im banking on a 7.9-8.2 no BNM score, but can still see a mid 8 with BNM as well.

 

This is my album of the year so far. I'll take Phoebe when I'm feeling fatalistic and Taylor when I need to escape.

 

They’re also promoting the “Betty” review on twitter with a “while you wait for our album review”. Gotta think that means they’ll be positive.

 

They’ll give it the same score as Red is my guess

 

A lot of this album reminds me so much of Wild Hope by Mandy Moore.

 

Red got a 9.0 (retrospective review)... I think this will tie or beat it. I think it will get BNM as well.

 

My top 5 has changed like every couple of hours. But it's kind of solidifying:

Betty
Epiphany
Invisible String

 

7.5-ish, no BNM

 

Hoax and Peace should be flipped.

 

It's like when I listened to After the Party and I was like "well clearly this is the end of the album" and then there was one more song.

 

I’m on board with that, had a similar thought last night. peace would be an excellent closer

 

Is anyone going to Lover Fest (assuming it isn’t ultimately cancelled which is a possibility but I’m in denial so let’s not talk about that)? I can’t wait to see how she will interweave these new songs into the show. I have tickets to both East nights.

 

yeah I’ve got a ticket for the first night in LA. really hope it still happens. Super curious how she’ll mix songs from this and Lover since she never toured that

listen, i think i would ultimately rather have a new album than a concert, but i would eventually like to see her again live.

I've been so sad thinking about this since this was announced... jut don't get how she could do both albums properly. Unless she does like 3-4 nights everywhere. 2 Lover, 1 or 2 folklore.

finally getting to listen to this on nice headphones, sounds great. my tears ricochet might be my favorite on here

edit: never caught (presumably) Jack's vocals in the background of mirrorball. track is so good
