I'm not real big on physical releases of music these days 'cause comics are my go to artform to engage in my hands. But, decided to buy the cassette. I like the composition of that cover photo in that aspect ratio, & I like that it's a smaller thing that'll be easy to just sit on a shelf or something.
Did not think I’d be thrust into an 8-way vinyl variant decision the moment I woke up. God damn at least let me get the coffee first Tay
i wonder how this will sell with covid/not touring/surprise drop. reputation and lover are easily her least selling albums. lover, even being a “return to form” or whatever, sold less than 1/3 what 1989 did
I just cleaned my entire apartment so I could have a clean and peaceful environment to listen to this in .... 13 hours.
Taylor played at Country Jam in Eau Claire way back when IIRC.. she's already familiar with the area!! get her to headline the next fest!
I think it’s likely more because she couldn’t complete the cycle. She views the tours and the videos and all that as part of the process and all of that got prevented. I think that’s likely the reason she’s ready to just move on, personally.
Listening to 1989 for the first time in years and man... basically every song on it is a hit.. its crazy.. "Rumors" -esque almost
Feel like I prefer that vinyl color over all others but prefer hide and seek over all the other covers
