One year this week! This thread will always go down as one of my favorite experiences on Chorus. It’s not often anymore we all collectively lose our minds over records anymore, and that it was a surprise when we needed it the most made it all the better.

Anyway, I covered mirrorball for the most recent Chorus.fm comp — I don’t normally post this stuff outside of that thread but the timing was too good

Had to buy “the greatest loves” shirt because I never owned a Taylor shirt. So excited about it.

 

Not here at all for THE folklore ALBUM merch again. Dig that lost in the memory hoodie otherwise though

 

I haaaate that everything says Folklore Album. Why does it need to say “album” on it?? It immediately makes everything a no for me. Is that weird?

 

It's due to a lawsuit from a clothing company that uses folklore, when the album came out it was simply folklore, but yes I agree it's annoying

 

That makes sense. But doesn’t make it better haha.

Ah yeah, that actually sounds familiar now. Guess I forgot that was the situation. Still think the next best step would be just not having the album name on the merch, or at least not on all of it haha. Feels unnecessary. But she’s also a marketing wizard who’s successfully built herself an empire and I am not

 

I much prefer merch when the album era isn’t mentioned. Lyrics and overall aesthetics are fine though for me.
