I love The Office dearly but Jim is kind of annoying

 

jim is fine. i dont understand the jim is horrible takes ive seen more frequently in recent years. to me he's too uninteresting to warrant that

 

i think it's due to people turning on krasinski. krasinski sucks but jim is still a much better character

parks is the better overall show. office had higher peaks. jim is the better character. adam is the better actor.

it's true. neither of those shows are remotely close to the best sitcom or even the best nbc sitcom haha

I think Betty from folklore is the best character.

 

I'm more of an Inez stan, she's a messy one who lives for drama

 

Amy Adams, and also Pam quite often after they’re married. Even before they’re dating he’s actively ruining her engagement lol

 

thats a stretch imo roy was fucking horrible i dont feel like thats automatically treating a woman terribly? dont even remember amy adams being in the show so cant speak on that

edit: oh shes in season 1. not sure how thats being consistently terrible to women throughout the entire series then. especially taking into consideration season 1 was just the british version redone right? i dont even count it as part of the show for real

 

So I like some of the lyrics from The Lakes on their own but this very much feels like a poem she wrote and tried to shoehorn to music. It’s the only song I don’t love so I’m okay with it being left off the digital.

 

Yeah, he keeps dating women and treating them like he's annoyed that they're there (because they're not Pam), while simultaneously displaying zero respect for Pam as an individual (Roy sucked to high heaven but that doesn't change how disrespectful Jim was to Pam while they were still together)

and then that trend just kinda continues but hey

The point is, I haven't received my CD yet so I have no idea how I feel about The Lakes

 

He’s had three love interests on the show and was a dick to all three of them at different times. Shits on Amy Adams for being a cheerleader in high school and dumps her while she’s stuck on a boat with all his coworkers lol. All the Karen stuff. Roy sucked but Jim still had little interest in respecting boundaries in her relationship. Then the Athlead storyline. He’s just kinda a dick!

 

i.... said neither of the shows are the best nbc sitcom lol. i didn't forget anything. did you forget to read?

 

i just dont think hes "consistently terrible to women" but whatever lol. most of it is just normal sitcom conflict writing. the karen stuff sure but the rest? dont buy it. seems like an excuse to hate
