I was listening to all the new stuff out today and whatnot so I'm just getting to my first listen of the day now and it feels like coming home

 

Posted that springsteen article on Facebook and ya gotta love people

 

Does anyone think the overwhelming positivity towards this album could influence Taylor to continue on in this vein?

I’d love to hear a second album in this style, this is just her first (excellent) attempt.

 

I think she still likes to write pop songs, and I like her writing pop songs. But I would love to see what the best case scenario of those two genres merging perfectly would be.

1. Arena rock
2. Dream pop
3. Acoustic guitar
4. Literally whatever she wants cause I always love it anyway

I can’t think of any other artist who could match her numbers for this album. Maybe Beyoncé or Billie Eilish or Adele? That’s about it though I think. She truly is the biggest artist on the planet.

My least favorite thing about the early albums are that they're more pop-country than country and while I like both those genres I really don't like them together...so I'd like a true country album, maybe like a singer-songwriter-y acoustic album.
