I lived in the region of Italy that has perfected the aperol spritz and made it their aperitif of choice so I’m gonna hard disagree here.

Betty has gotta be best with a sh*t light beer, right? Something that you'd only drink as a youth due to ignorance, low cash flow, or both.

the moment in August where the music cuts out then comes sweeping back in at around 3:09 is SO Jack, but so damn effective. Gives such an epic feeling and takes the song up a notch, so great.

White overproof Jamaican rum is an entirely different beast than almost any rum. I make this drink with Rum Fire which is known for its “funk”

I don’t drink, so, uh, I guess Betty is a nice pink lemonade. Maybe watermelon juice.

After taking many listens repeatedly, I have to say, it was very enjoyable, and grew on me very much, my favorite track as of right now would have to be "the last great american dynasty".

The lyric about filling the pool with champagne in "the last great american dynasty" SOMEHOW retroactively made one of the worst songs on reputation a little better. I thought the first verse in "This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things" was just relating her pool parties to a janky Gatsby scene, but now when i hear it, I'll think of this story and how she's in some ways inserting herself into a lineage at Holiday House. Props TayTay.

This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things is definitely not one of the worst songs on the album, it's the best fun. song that fun. never wrote
