Also omg that auto generator song ranking thing is taking way longer than I expected but I've come too far
@ComedownMachine I kept waiting for one curveball on your list I would vehemently disagree with... but nope, good shit

Im kinda sorry l left out my tears ricochet and mad woman (and no body no crime) but their angry tone didnt fit the album
Yes! I'm too indecisive for rankings. I kept hitting the "I like them both" button for like all the pairings
That’s actually really frustrating. I didn’t see any indication it was only going to be up for a limited time. I hate these games
Wow I am so annoyed by the vinyl. Folklore had an over abundance of vinyl options and now evermore is already unavailable? Smh. Figured I had all the time in the world. But “unavailable” doesn’t exactly mean sold out either. I guess we’ll see.
I like The National, but their last album is soooooo slowwwww. Some good songs on there, but it generally just feels inert to me. I think part of the reason I like evermore more than folklore is that 4-5 songs on folklore feel very much cut from the same musical cloth as I Am Easy to Find, whereas this one feels a like a tighter collaboration. There are fewer “Taylor Swift singing on a National song” moments and more “Taylor Swift songs with National-like touches,” if that makes sense.
I'm sure there will at least be some sort of Target exclusive version in 20 weeks that you can scoop up. They're not going to leave this as a limited pressing.
National rule. Took me a bit to really get into them but they have so many immediately accessible songs. Fake Empire, Bloodbuzz Ohio, England
"Fifteen years, fifteen million tears Begging 'til my knees bleed I gave it my all, he gave me nothing at all Then wondered why I left Now he sits on his throne in his palace of bones Praying to his greed He's got my past frozen behind glass But I've got me" Damn
