Seeing her at a small venue would be a literal dream come true. Even a seated theater or ballroom that fits a couple thousand would be awesome.
I wonder if we’ve completely moved on from Lover. Like will we ever get live performances other than the award shows/late night stuff she did (and City of Lover)?
She still hasn't actually cancelled Loverfest and me and my 5th row tickets will be waiting for WHATEVER she decides to do until the moment she smashes that cancel button
Assuming her next show(s) will be on the same scale as usual, they may not even be able to happen until summer 2022, so at that point for all we know we will be on to an entirely new album & era altogether. Whatever happens, it really feels like we have entered a new period of Taylor Swift. We're in uncharted waters now, and it'll be so interesting to see what she does from here, not just musically but basically in all areas. It's an exciting time to be a fan.
I could've really used that money back, especially this year, but... it's Taylor... and I reserve the right to make questionable decisions for 5th row
Has there been any hints of a full live video of Evermore? I mean, at this point they HAVE to do one right? Ha
Watching the Zane Lowe interview and apparently she thought some of the Evermore songs were gonna be for Big Red Machine.
I was expecting a career spanning tour to go with the re-records sometime in late 2021 prior to 2020 2020-ing. I’d still really like to see that. With her “eras” approach there are songs I realistically may never see live otherwise.
Maybe Loverfest becomes something where she performs two sets per day. The daytime pop bangers and then the night time folklorevermore
in that case, I will look at the jam band shows I was taken to semi against my will over the past few years as training
Imagine a 10-hour show, starting at 3ish and ending at 1. It's a nonstop step where Taylor and all her guests take turns throughout the whole thing, culminating in Taylor and Friends headlining set
well the training won't apply properly if there's no set break in which I sit and think about my life while the people I'm with go find the pin guy outside but I could get on board with this too I suppose
I'm only a very mild listener so I could be off, but I (vaguely) remember someone mentioning that Andrew McMahon did a tour like that a few years ago and it sounded very cool.
Haha, well, it was me who told that story. Great memory though! It was at one of his yearly benefits, and it was only 3ish hours, but yep. All the guests came in and out during the show, it was pretty cool honestly. But I also was a fan of everyone, so it wasn't like an artist I hated kept showing up
