It’s the only song from these two records that I want to physically remove. I do not like it one bit, feels like some people do though so that’s cool. Sticks out like a sore thumb to me.
The end part of Coney Island where Taylor and Matt are singing together is the best guest spot between the two albums imo - they sound not only excellent together, but entirely natural, too. That, "oh yeah, they could totally share a band together" feeling > Simpsons guest appearance vibes coughexilecough
I’m imagining ‘tis the damn season is Betty talking to James years after she rejected him at her doorstep and moved on with her life

This is an unbelievable follow up. I love it already, but I can also tell some of these are growers (just like some songs on folklore). I don't have an opinion on which I like better yet, but that's beside the point when they're both as good as this. I just know Evermore is definitely not leftovers, and I will say that emotionally speaking, folklore just feels like a warm up now. Gold Rush is a huge highlight for me, I love that all of Bleachers is on it. And No Body, No Crime?? what's not to love. Evermore is exactly what I was hoping we would get from Justin this time. There's so many highlights though I need so much more time to take it all in, I guess I've got to listen all weekend.
I know...I've noticed she also just wears the jersey of whatever city she's in...but I choose to believe she's a Philly fan being from Reading.
